Here’s just a few inspirational words Bill spoke of: I believe that we don’t have to change friends if we understand that friends change; I believe you should always leave loved ones with loving words; I believe you should control your attitude or it will control you; I believe growing old is mandatory, but growing up is optional.

Happy Dollars: No happy dollars collected.

Program Speaker: Mary Sexton

Program Topic: Regional Director of Riverfront Investment Group. Mary served as Managing Director of the Banking Services Division of the Financial Serviced Group Wachovia Securities for which she served for 10 years. Mary has more than 20 years experience in the financial services industry, she studied Economics and Public Policy at Goucher College in Baltimore.

About the program: Mary introduced us to an eye opening and provocative speech about our current economy and how we can and probably will persevere over these difficult times in our country. She didn't just tell us all the bad news either, Mary projected us out of the hard economic times from the past, the present and into the future of getting our country back on track but not without some suffering and hard work for the private sector and the government.

Lucky Ticket Drawing led by Rick Walter.  The winning ticket number was held by: Vickie Cooley. Unfortunately Vickie was not the winner of the joker pot.  There’s over $500 in the pot and now only 42 cards left in the deck.

The meeting was adjourned at 7:55 p.m.
