Pat Dye gave an inspiring Inspirational Moment and spoke to us about the Shoe Project. She told us of a family that had lost their mother and the oldest daughter had taken on the role of caring for the rest of the children. They were beneficiaries of this project and the kids showed everyone how proud they were of their shoes.

There were many visitors and visiting Rotarians including a 5 year-old Colt Janse and his mother, who I understood to have won the Duck Dash a few years ago. Others visitors included Marion Webb, Stephanie Walters Pam Going, Ingrid Bruner, Cheryl Gunderson (Bellevue Lunch) Steve Pullman (Charter Member of Kirkland Morning) Patty Shinstrom and Eric Wilson.
