DESCRIPTION:The city of Kirkland will host a ribbon cutting ceremony on Jun
 e 2\, 2023\, at 5 p.m. at the entrance of Marina Park at Kirkland Avenue a
 nd Lakeshore Plaza to unveil the installation of a new crosswalk modeled a
 fter the Intersex-Inclusive Progress Pride flag. The Rotary Club of Kirkla
 nd has secured a space at the event for a table\, tent\, chairs\, etc. a
 s we wish. The city has approved the club to bring flyers about the Rumma
 ge Sale and information about the club. Other organizations will be repre
 sented such as the Library\, PFLAG\, and the city of Kirkland. Set-up will
  be at 4 p.m.\, one hour before the official opening of the event at 5 p.
 m.  The hours of the event are 5 - 7 p.m. Take-down of tables\, etc. can 
 last until 8 p.m.   Students from Lake Washington High School are expecte
 d to join Rotarians to celebrate the dedication and assist in distributing
  Rotary literature.
