Washington Autism Alliance (WAA) will share how they work to expand access to healthcare, education, and essential services for individuals and families impacted by autism and other developmental disabilities in Washington State. From insurance navigation to legislative advocacy, WAA not only helps families navigate broken systems—they work to fundamentally change those systems.
WAA is also excited to announce Day Out for Autism 2026 and is encouraging the community to spring into action and help bring some magic to this much-anticipated event!

Arzu Forough is a nationally recognized advocate and changemaker with over 25 years of experience in leadership development, government relations, and nonprofit management. As the founder of Washington Autism Alliance, Arzu has led groundbreaking efforts to improve education and healthcare access for individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities. Arzu continues to drive impact through policy innovation, technical support, and community partnerships—empowering families and professionals nationwide!
Arzu will be joined by Paige Mandy, a dedicated educator and nonprofit fundraiser with a background in neurodivergent education and community outreach. Paige is passionate about using clear and inspired messaging to foster connection, spark meaningful conversations, and build support to empower individuals to be their own best advocates.
