During August, the Rotary Club of Kirkland offered an all-star diversity, equity, and inclusion program series, The Legacy of Racism in America, to its membership and members' guests.  Experts who spoke at the Monday meetings were environmental journalist Scott Miller on white privilege, PricewaterhouseCoopers vice president Joshua Cooper on LGBTQD equity and inclusion, trained facilitator and Circle Keeper Paula-Ann Clements on the Native American experience, and former KING 5 television reporter Linda Byron on equity in policing and what it means to “defund” the police.  The series moderator was Rotarian Darcia Tudor, attorney, family mediator, forensic therapist, and executive coach.
