Kirkland Rotary Step Scholarship

The Step Scholarship is sponsored by Russ & Tricia Stromberg.  This scholarship is an award of $1,500.  One “Kirkland Rotary Step Scholarship” may be awarded in 2024.  The eligibility criteria for a first-time recipient are:
 
  • Financial need (demonstrated through a valid USED Student Aid Report [SAR]);
  • Academic promise (demonstrated through the transcript and letter of recommendation);
  • Record of school or community service, especially leadership, and promise of societal contribution (demonstrated through the essay and letter of recommendation);
  • Current enrollment as a senior at Lake Washington High School; and
  • Plans to attend an accredited higher education institution in the United States.
