August 8, 2011 Spokesman
The 2011 Kirkland Rotary Salmon Bake was held at the Kirkland Boys & Girls Club on a very nice evening on August 8, 2011. The event was well attended and this will be a very short Spokesman as there was really no club business conducted at the event. President Elect Patti Smith was in charge for the evening as President Brandon was home with new baby Bethany and recovering mom Becca. Brandon says all are doing well and Bethany is a model baby... so far. Patti asked for all members with guests to give introductions. There were too many in attendance for your humble scribe to remember and list but needless to say there were many.

For those not at the event name the Kirkland Rotarian who is wearing these pants. Yes, we do have a member that actually purchased and wore these pants. Answer will be at next Monday's meeting.
Many thanks to all the volunteers that made this a fantastic event. There are too many to name but you all know who you are. As you can see by the photos below there was plenty of good food and cheer and a great time was had by all.
