Retail leadership in downtown Kirkland
No one knows better than Chapman Fina, owner of Via Lago boutique in downtown Kirkland, that small businesses are an integral part of what makes a community.  Chapman will discuss with Rotarians the impact of recent economic events on her retail business, what she is doing to adapt to the restrictions on retailers, and her perspective on the outlook for the near term.

Chapman has been a fixture at Via Lago for 20 years, and the proprietor for 12 years.  As a long-time resident of Kirkland, she is dedicated to supporting other local businesses and her community.  Via Lago is known for teaming up with Kirkland Chamber of Commerce for their annual fashion show, and networking with other local business.  She is also well known in the retail community for popular store events, with proceeds helping local charities such as Child Haven, such as her annual Flip Flop Lemon Drop, and annual Christmas party, and off-site trunk shows featuring new local jewelry and fashion designers.
