Paula Clements of Same Place Circles Consulting
America's Native American experience
As a part of the Rotary Club of Kirkland’s Diversity, Equity and Inclusion speaker series, Paula-Ann Clements will present to the club on The Native American Experience.  As with the other portions of the DEI series, the moderator for this evening will be Darcia Tudor, a club member and attorney, family mediator, forensic therapist and executive coach.

Same Place Circles Consulting is the professional platform used by Paula Clements to continue her decades long work in race, equity and justice.  A trained facilitator and Circle Keeper, Paula focuses on hearts and minds by providing guided experiences designed to educate and engage participants.  Conversations are foundational to the exchange of ideas and significant growth.

Paula is committed to maintaining an environment of openness, mutual respect and truth telling. It is important to hear what is being said even when stated in ways that are sometimes troubling or painful.  Challenging individuals to a “growing edge” through deep listening, intentional sharing and “good trouble” is the goal.  Trouble is in the edge where meaningful change lives.

Prior to serving as the principal for Same Place Circles Consulting, Paula served as the director of admissions and the interim head of school for Billings Middle School.  As a result of her contributions there, Paula was awarded the title of “Master of Intentional Community” for service to the school.  Paula received her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Pennsylvania.
