During the past week, club members were sent two short SurveyMonkey questionnaires. One asked your preference for continuing or replacing the club's major fundraising effort, the Great Kirkland Rotary Rummage Sale; 62.5% of those responding preferred to continue the rummage sale project. The other asked for your choice regarding the best venue for the club to use for regular meetings, and to select from among the three venues at which we've met for trials; 71.4% of those responding indicated a preference for the Eagles. To view the summary reports from SurveyMonkey for each of the surveys, click on the highlighted survey name below. Your ClubRunner log-in is required to view the documents. Please note the surveys are informational only; club decision-making votes are conducted during meetings or via an online voting platform in accordance with the club's Bylaws.
Surveys are sent to the "primary" email address identified in each club member's ClubRunner profile. Members may verify their primary address by selecting "Edit My Profile" from the Members drop-down menu on the club's website homepage. Several members found the survey emails from SurveyMonkey in their junk or spam folders. In some cases, emails bounced due to server screening mechanisms (servers may interpret a SurveyMonkey survey invitation as spam). In several cases, where Gary or Cody were informed of surveys not showing up, a web-based link was sent to the individual to allow them to complete the process. An article alerting members to the surveys was carried in the July 5, 2024 edition of The Spokesman, and a reminder was included in the Sunday email preceding the August 12 virtual club meeting.
