The club’s board of directors met on Thursday evening, December 19, 2024 at the Banner Bank branch in downtown Kirkland. Highlights included discussion about the status of outstanding club dues payments and action regarding continuation of membership; approval of a revised annual budget (QuickBooks format) for fiscal year 2025; discussion about several unpaid attendees at the holiday dinner; revising event registration fees and location for the Valentine Dinner; establishing the level of scholarship funding for 2025; and receiving reports from various officers and committee chairs.The treasurer reviewed an income statement for September through December 19, 2024, and a balance sheet as of December 19, 2024, noting that there still must be made a journal entry to correct one item so the balance sheet for the period is correct and completed. QuickBooks uses the title “Statement of Financial Position” for the balance sheet, and “Statement of Activity” for the income statement.
