The club’s board of directors met on the 17th of December to conduct club business.  Highlights included a report on revenues and expenditures, and discussion of how to approach fund raising in the coming year, especially whether and when to mount another Duck Dash, and the progress to goal for club giving for Rotary International priorities.  Directors discussed the status of membership recruiting, and various strategies to engage potential members over the next several months.  The board discussed a variety of activities to include in the existing meeting calendar, whether to change the frequency of meetings, and adjusted the timing and content of the speaker series for the balance of the Rotary year.  Rotarians may view this month’s board meeting minutes and those of prior meetings on the Board Minutes page, which requires a log-in.  A link also may be found at the bottom of the Spokesman.
