The club’s board of directors met on Thursday, February 23, 2023, via Zoom. Highlights included an in-depth update from the fundraising committee on preparations for the Kirkland Rummage Sale this summer; formal approval of the fundraising committee's recommended project committee structure; and extensive review and approval by the board of an updated version of the club's constitution prepared to comply with Rotary International's requirements. The revised constitution was then distributed to members via email for approval at the club's March 6 regular meeting.

The treasurer’s report for February was distributed. All members' dues have been paid. The board was provided an updated meal card refund schedule identifying card purchase prices and outstanding balances, and directors agreed to publish the list in the next bulletin, and provide affected members thirty days to provide corrections to Jim Meniketti, after which time all of the balances would be refunded by check.

The membership chair's report was received, as was language proposed to revise the club's bylaws to authorize corporate memberships. The board's committee on corporate membership recommendation to revise Art. XI, Method of Electing Members, was approved by the board and then sent to the membership via email that evening for approval at the club's March 6 regular meeting.

The board meeting schedule is published in the club's Calendar. Meetings will be at Amy Mutal's business. Rotarians may view this month’s board meeting minutes and those of prior meetings on the Board Minutes page, which requires a log-in. A link also may be found at the bottom of The Spokesman.
