Bella Chaffey, chair of the Rotary Club of Kirkland Community Service Committee, announced the start of the process to get everything planned for the club's Holiday Gifting to John Muir Elementary School families. Bella notes that before the committee can commit to a certain number of families to serve this season, the committee needs to see how much Rotarians can raise for this incredible program.
If rotarians would like to donate now, information about how to give for the Holiday Gift program is below. Bella shared at the October 4 club meeting that she personally kicked off the donations using the club's Donate web page, and found that it could not be easier to do!!

To make your Holiday Gift Donation, go to the Donate page on the website. You can find the link on the home page, at the top in the gold banner. On the donation page, where is says “Please Select Your Donation Designation”, be sure to choose the “Holiday Gift” option from the drop-down menu. On the donation page there are pre-set amounts from which to choose, and the option to fill in your own amount has been re-established on the page. (Please note that the minimum amount for this page is $10 due to bank fraud prevention rules.)
Alternatively, you could send a check to the Rotary Club of Kirkland post office box. If that is what you choose to do, please write “Holiday Gift” in the “memo” area of the check.
