The club’s board of directors met on Thursday, January 19, at President Amy Mutal's office. Highlights included an in-depth discussion of the club's meeting structure and the feedback from members regarding the first in-person meeting held at SOI Thai Restaurant & Bar, an update from the fund-raising committee on the preparation of a new major fund-raising project for this summer, and an extensive review of the community service options developed by the community service committee.

The treasurer’s report for January, and the treasurer reported that only two members' dues are outstanding. The board determined that any unpaid dues remaining at the end of January would result in membership termination. (Note: the club's constitution requires club dues to be paid within 30 days to maintain membership.)

The membership chair's report was received, a new member was approved for submission to the club, and the board formed a committee to propose constitution and bylaws revisions to provide a new corporate membership option for the club.

The board meeting schedule is published in the club's Calendar. Except for February, meetings will be at Amy Mutal's business. Rotarians may view this month’s board meeting minutes and those of prior meetings on the Board Minutes page, which requires a log-in. A link also may be found at the bottom of The Spokesman.
