The Rotary Club of Kirkland will enjoy three opportunities to hear from a selection of city of Kirkland staff about the police, fire, and public works and planning departments.  On January 4, Kirkland Police Corporal John Ness will brief club members on topics including community policing and the school resource officer program.  On January 11, Jeremy McMahan, deputy director of Kirkland's planning team, will update the club on major business developments and major transportation projects on the city's planning list.  On January 25, Kirkland Fire Department Chief Joe Sanford will discuss with Rotarians the impact of the fire and EMS ballot measure outcome, and the city council's most recent directions for the fire and emergency services program.  For topic details and speaker background use the club website's Speakers tab.  If you have program suggestions for future meetings, please email James Nevers.
