The Rotary Club of Kirkland held the 2026 Scholarship Award Dinner at Prosecco Restaurant in Kirkland.
The scholarships are awarded to selected local students for their higher education at accredited institutions in the state of Washington. These scholarships recognize students for a variety of achievements and are designed to support students with financial need and academic promise, and who demonstrate service to their communities.

Former Club President Rick Walter acted as presiding officer for the meeting and rang the bell at 6:15 P.M.
John Storbeck provided the Rotary Moment by telling us how Rotarian Ted Turner founded the Goodwill Games as an alternative multi-sport event in the wake of the 1980 and 1984 Olympic Game boycotts.
Daniel Sada Caraveo introduced each student and told us about their impressive achievements. The students received their award certificates then took a moment to introduce their parents.

The meeting ended with the raffle.
