In April, Rotarians heard an array of views from large firms in the Kirkland area.  Kristian Uri, operations manager of Fisherman's Finest, a major, woman-owned, seafood processing firm located in Kirkland, provided insight into the firm’s Alaskan sea fisheries and major investments in state-of-the-art processing ships and staff health maintenance.  Marketing Director Mary Miller updated the club on the progress of --and provided an introduction to-- the new Aegis Living facility opening soon on Lake Washington Boulevard.

Photojournalist Corky Trewin treated Rotarians to a retrospective on sports photography, the Seattle Seahawks from the team’s inception, and the challenges of photographing other major athletic events.  Following the close of the legislative session, Rotarians will hear news about Google’s activities locally and world-wide from government affairs executive Ian Goodhew.  Thanks to Rotarians Rich Bergdahl and Scott Becker for organizing this program series.
