The club’s board of directors met on Wednesday, November 16, at President Amy Mutal's office. Highlights included discussion of replacements for the club's vocational service chair, secretary, and president-elect. Directors reviewed the results of the club meeting preferences survey, and engaged in further discussion of the treasurer's revised, proposed Rotary Budget for 2022-2023.

Another review and hopefully approval of the overall budget will occur during and extended board meeting in December. Thanksgiving food basket collection and distraction, Salvation Army bell ringing, and Holiday gift wrapping and party arrangements were updated.

The treasurer’s report for November was provided in written form, including updates on revenue and expenses.

The membership chair's report was received. The vice president, who chairs the fundraising committee, provided an update on progress toward identifying a successor to the Duck Dash event. The president determined an extended meeting in December is necessary to more fully discuss the major fund-raising project evolution, and the overall budget including reserve draw-down and legacy project set-aside. The board meeting schedule is published in the club's Calendar. Except for February, meetings will be at Amy Mutal's business. Rotarians may view this month’s board meeting minutes, when posted, and those of prior meetings on the Board Minutes page, which requires a log-in. A link also may be found at the bottom of The Spokesman.
