The club’s board of directors met on Thursday, October 20, at President Amy Mutal's office. Highlights included discussion of recent departures from the club's membership, and the challenge presented by the accommodations at the Courtyard by Marriott. Directors reviewed the results of the SurveyMonkey questionnaire on holiday party preferences. Directors engaged in further discussion of the treasurer's proposed Rotary Budget for 2022-2023, and another review and then approval of budget requests presented in August by the chairs of the community service and vocational service committees.

The treasurer’s report for October was provided in written form, including updates on revenue and expenses.

The membership chair's report was received. The fundraising committee updated the board on progress toward identifying a successor to the Duck Dash event as the club's principle fundraising endeavor. The board meeting schedule is published in the club's Calendar. Fall and winter meetings will be at Amy Mutal's business, and the location of several of the spring meetings has yet to be determined. Rotarians may view this month’s board meeting minutes, when posted, and those of prior meetings on the Board Minutes page, which requires a log-in. A link also may be found at the bottom of the Spokesman.
