The Rotary Club of Kirkland's Holiday Gift Wrapping Party, held December 20, 2021 at the Kirkland Woman's Club, concluded another successful season of Rotary giving and community service. Rotarians raised $10,355 to purchase holiday gifts for needy children and their families. The annual holiday gifting event, and the funding campaign that leads up to it, supports John Muir Elementary School families. From too great a number of needy families, the John Muir staff and Rotarians identified a dozen families whose circumstances made them priorities for holiday gift donations. After purchasing gifts for the families, Rotarians held a wrapping party and then personally delivered the gifts to those families. A very big thank you to all the donors, shoppers, wrappers, and supporters who made the event such a success!
