Due to a number of pressing matters within his business, John Storbeck is stepping down from the treasurer position at the conclusion of this Rotary year, June 30. In accordance with Article 3 of the club's bylaws, the board appointed assistant treasurer Michelle Cazeau to fill the vacancy effective July 1. As a result, Michelle will not assume the vocational service committee chair position, which is vacant.In order to stay involved in leadership during the coming year, John volunteered for and was appointed by the board to fill the program and speaker chair role.
Rick Walter has decided to assume the responsibilities for the club's community service program for the coming Rotary year, as that position was vacant. As a result, the membership chair position is vacant beginning July 1, and a replacement is being sought.
Thank you to each of these club members, and the others, who are committing time and energy to these club leadership roles. If you are interested in the membership chair role or the vocational service committee leadership, please contact any of the club's board members. It would be best if appointments can be made at the board's June 20 meeting.
