Hello, Kirkland Rotary. My name is Isabel Grizzard, the February Student of the Month (2021) awardee. I wanted to thank you for reaching out to me. I am now a student at the Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C. It has been my dream school, and I absolutely love it there. I have met many kind professors and amazing friends throughout my first semester (I blink, and I'm already in my second)!College life is a whole different experience than what I am used to. I feel like I am adapting well and becoming more independent. I am beginning to discover who I am as a person. I have a creative talent, and I've always wanted to use my skills in the business world. So, I decided to be a marketing major at the Busch School of Business. The classes I've been taking are super interesting, and helpful too! Overall, D.C. is an excellent place for me. There are many places to go to, with plenty of opportunities to help me start with my dream career. My mother will be moving down there with my family and me in March, so I am excited about this new chapter! Regards,
