Hello all,

I would like to thank the Kirkland Rotary Club for supporting me on my academic journey. I have had an amazing first quarter at UW! This quarter I learned about electric and magnetic interactions in Physics 122, double integrals in Math 126, rhetoric across genres in English 131, and different engineering career paths in my engineering seminar. I enjoyed the fast pace and interesting content of these classes and am excited for next quarter. I also joined one of the Campus Philharmonia Orchestras with my brother and met Huskies across various majors at our weekly rehearsals. Outside of classes, I have been enjoying running on the Burke-Gilman trail and exploring Seattle! Next quarter, I will also be starting work as an undergraduate researcher at the Lidstrom Lab, investigating the metabolism of methane-eating bacteria and their possible role in combating climate change. Thanks again and I wish all the Rotary club members a safe and happy holiday season!
