Keilani Crespi never thought she would accomplish so much during her four years of high school, and says she doesn't think she could be more grateful for the opportunities that have come her way. She has participated in athletics, choir, and several school programs throughout high school, including the Juanita High School chapter of Safe School Ambassadors, a program which trains students to combat bullying within their school and community environments. Keilani has been deeply interested in the field of education ever since she began volunteering with Lake Washington School District in 2017.

In fact, she intends to major in education at Central Washington University beginning in Fall 2021. In addition to school and volunteer activities, she’s worked at the Columbia Athletic Club gym in Juanita Bay for two and a half years, and has been inspired by the kids who work hard every day to improve their swimming and water safety skills under her instruction. Keilani says she is really excited to continue her education at CWU, and to continue her involvement in the Kirkland community! Keilani was awarded a Kirkland Rotary Education Scholarship.
