As a high school senior, Noah Aguirre earned a 3.89 GPA and actively participates in several clubs such as the National Honor Society, and LINK Crew, a leadership and volunteering-oriented group that holds high school orientation for incoming students. Additionally, he is the news director of KANG TV News, an award-winning weekly high school broadcast. Noah is passionate about video production and journalism, and his work has been nominated in film festivals and competitions, one a regional nomination across the northwest. He earned a position at George Mason University’s Washington Journalism and Media Conference in Washington D.C. due to his contributions to KANG TV News and his academic performance.Noah was the captain of his school's soccer team. His contributions earned a post-season leadership award for consistently setting an example for those around him, and the honor of participating in a panel to help select the new head coach for the soccer program. Noah plans to continue down this path of leadership, involvement, and creativity in positions on broadcast news, movie sets, and more. He wants to create, inform, and build community while following his passion in an ever-changing world of media and communication opportunities. Noah is the recipient of a $3,000 Rotary Scholarship.
