Last night was the extended deadline for applications to the 2022-2023 Rotary Club of Kirkland Student of the Month program. Eighteen students from Emerson, Juanita, and Lake Washington high schools began the application process. Eleven students completed by submitting applications by midnight last night; five students from Emerson, and three each from Juanita and Lake Washington high schools. The vocational service committee interview teams are expected to begin interviewing students next week; Kristen Olson, Patti Smith, and Rick Walter at JHS; Brandon Honcoop, James Nevers, and John Pruitt at LWHS.
