Sustainability Ambassadors Director of Learning Peter Donaldson wants Rotarians to know his team of student Sustainability Ambassadors looks forward to engaging with the Kirkland Rotary Club on a range of impact campaigns that we are facilitating in collaboration with the City of Kirkland to advance their Sustainability Strategic Plan and Transportation Strategic Plan. The team plan to engage for about 20 minutes, virtually, on Monday, January 13 during the Rotary meeting.

Peter says, "They will be using PowerPoint slides plus selected resources from our website as well as from the City. Depending on our student’s availability and homework load, we will have 1-4 Ambassadors presenting. Our mission is to “rapidly advance a sustainable future” and we have some exciting ways that we are leading by example at home, at school, and in our neighborhoods."

The Ambassadors will share our work on Low Carbon Commuting, Switching to Heat Pumps, Going Solar, Shrinking Lawns and Going Native. plus strategies for inspiring more youth to engage in solutions.
