The Rotary Club of Kirkland held a regular meeting August 31, 2026, at Prosecco Restaurant in Kirkland. 

 

Attendees: David Aubry, Bob Auslander, Margie Auslander, Roger Clarke, Gary Cohn, Theresa Demeter, Don Dicks, Brian Granowitz, Chris Kelly-Storbeck, Jim Meniketti, Rick Ostrander, Rémy Pairault, Joanne Primavera, Angela Pritchett, John Pruitt, Jocelyn Ellison, John Storbeck, Manny Tetteh, Rick Walter, Wendy Yang

 

Guests: Anna Aubry, Kari Haas, Dick Carlsen, and Lisa Jackson.

 

Chris Kelly-Storbeck acted as Chair for this meeting, which was devoted to information about the Club’s upcoming Gala and Auction on September 11th. Daniel Sada-Caraveo will inform everyone of a QR code to use when bidding on items at the Gala. There is an app called “Auctria” that all bidders will need to install on their cell phones; everyone will get a bidder number to use. More information on this should be available in the next few days.

 

Chris introduced our Auctioneer, Lisa Jackson, who spoke a bit about that process, giving us a quick run-down on the format and timetable of the Gala.

Bidding on Silent Auction items will start three days before the actual event. Live Auction items will be published in the near future; a list of items currently available with descriptions was circulated. We currently have 40+ items for the Silent Auction and about ten items for the live Auction.

 

There was much discussion by all in attendance.

 

The meeting adjourned at 6:50PM.
