The Rotary Club of Kirkland held the 2026-2027 Leadership Transition Dinner & Ceremony at Prosecco Restaurant in Kirkland, on Monday, June 15, 2026.
Attendees: Bob Auslander, Margie Auslander, Cody Baker, Roger Clarke, Gary Cohn*, Susan Cohn*, Chris Kelly-Storbeck, Alesha Khun, Jim Meniketti, Rick Ostrander, Rémy Pairault, Angela Pritchett, John Pruitt, Jocelyn Ellison, Daniel Sada Caraveo, John Storbeck, Manny Tetteh, Rick Walter, Wendy Yang.

Former Club President, Rick Walter acted as presiding officer for the meeting and rang the bell at 6:17 P.M.
Rick began the evening by describing the events of the past year.
- Club social events that were hosted in local parks, or in the homes of Rotarians such as Angela & Rémy, Daniel, Jim, and Roger.
- The annual Salmon Bake hosted by Rick & Peggy Ostrander in their beautiful garden.
- The Kirkland Rotary Foundation Gala and Auction. Which was successful due to the hard work and generosity of volunteers and sponsors.
- Preparing and serving a meal for individuals with food insecurity at St John's Episcopal Church, volunteers included Rick & Stephanie Walter, Kate Koslosky, Chris Kelly-Storbeck, Roger Clarke and Alesha Khun.
- Volunteering to sort and pack food at Hopelink.
- The club's annual holiday shopping and gift-wrapping event, where volunteers shop for children from John Muir Elementary who might not otherwise have holiday presents.
- Several Rotarians attended and supported the HERO House Gala & Auction.
- Rotarians volunteered for the WAA Day Out for Autism Event at Marina Park. The club had a booth where they gave out Autistic Barbie dolls, Matchbox toy cars, and Play Doh.
