Our new Rotary year brings warm greetings to a returning member, and fond farewells to those who are leaving the club. Today, four of the club's number are leaving membership for retirement, to tend to families and business, or to tend to health challenges. In addition, long-time Rotarian and the club's first woman president, Sandy Ekins, was elected to honorary membership by the board of directors and begins her new relationship with the club this month. Congratulations, Sandy! The Rotary Club of Kirkland's new year begins with 32 active members and one honorary member.
