The club’s board of directors met on Thursday, July 20, 2023 at the Prevail Wealth Management office. Highlights included approving an initial budget for the 2023-2024 Rotary Year in support of moving July 1 to QuickBooks online; confirming significant club event dates for the year; and adopting the Rotary District 5030 Youth Protection Policy for 2023-2024.The immediate past-treasurer provided a final June treasurer’s report, treasurer’s report of accounts for June, and preliminary rummage sale income statement as of July 15. All members have paid dues as of July 17, 2023.
The board reviewed the status of the seven prospective members in the ClubRunner Membership Success system, reviewed the status of member responses in the committee participation survey (73% responded, total of 56 committee sign-ups); and decided to concentrate student of the month and scholarship resources at Lake Washington High School until membership participation increases. The board also decided to hold an additional club meeting at Madison House in order to give members more opportunity to sample the venue and fare, and to respond to a member survey on the location.

Meetings in person during the rest of summer, fall, and spring of the new Rotary year will be at Brezza Condominium, and winter board meetings year are scheduled to be held online via Zoom.
