The club’s board of directors met on Thursday, March 25. Highlights included progress of plans for the Duck Dash as the annual fund-raiser during Kirkland's Oktoberfest in September; completion of the president-elect's task of forming a new board for 2021-2022, and the challenges presented by future presidents spending part of the year out of state.In addition, the board discussed April's speaker series highlighting perspectives of major businesses in Kirkland, which is still in process; the board heard the club is still one donation away from achieving the Rotary International 100% participation goal; held a discussion of the challenges presented by resuming in-person meetings at the Woodmark Hotel; and received an update on the scholarship program, which is now fully online, and still needs interview volunteers.
