The club’s board of directors met on Thursday, May 25, 2023 at Prevail Wealth Management. Highlights included an update on preparations for the Great Kirkland Rotary Rummage Sale; board approval of proposed revisions to the club's dues for 2023-2024, approving a change of venue for the June 20 club meeting at which scholarships will be awarded; and planning for the leadership transition and leadership transition ceremony. The treasurer’s report for May was distributed, the treasurer noting that the operating fund is at $5,292, the service projects fund is at $42,194, and the traditional legacy fund account was closed and those funds invested in an interest-bearing business savings account. The board also approved changing the signature cards for the operating accounts at Banner Bank.
The board revisited the membership committee implementation of the ClubRunner membership success system, endorsed the move to an online referral and application system for prospective new members, and approved a lifetime honorary membership.
The board meeting schedule is published in the club's Calendar. Meetings during the balance of this Rotary year will be at Prevail Wealth Management's offices, and in-person board meetings next year are tentatively scheduled to be held at the Brezza Condominium on 4th Avenue.
