Program:
Bo Darling, District 5030 Governor, talked about how important it is to have teamwork in Rotary.  He said every idea such as Rotary First Harvest and the Rotary efforts to end Polio, started with an idea from one person, but took teamwork to start the process and continue it through today.

Bo said he also believes in continuity in managing District 5030.  Past District Governor, Terry Pickering, started having more fellowships.  He had a picnic in Mercer Island in August and invites everyone to attend an event at the Hydroplane Museum in Kent on Monday, September 19.  Fellowship is a wonderful way to get us all together and develop teams to work on our projects.

Patricia Darling invited everyone to attend the District Conference in Portland, OR, on April 21-23, 2017 at the Portland Hilton.  The conference will celebrate 100 years of the Rotary Foundation and 30 years of women’s admittance into Rotary.  Bo said the conference will continue to be family friendly and bring the kids and significant others.
