The club’s board of directors met on Thursday, September 21, 2023 at the Brezza Condominium. Highlights included approving for recommendation to membership one of the five prospective members whose application is in the ClubRunner Membership Success system, approving the student of the month program plan, approving offering specially designed holiday cards for Rotarians to purchase, and hearing numerous reports from committee chairs on committee progress.

There was not a treasurer's report this month due to the treasurer traveling away from the area.

The board reviewed international service projects and approved the committee's recommendations, referring a Morocco relief proposal for their consideration; approved funding for the Music4Life program contingent upon school district approval and base funding; considered and approved scheduling a Sweethearts Dinner on February 14; approved preparation of spouse/partner and scholarship awardee membership waivers for consideration at an upcoming meeting; and approved the president's appointment of a nominating committee for 2024-2025 officers and directors.

The board meeting schedule is published in the club's Calendar. The next in-person meeting will be at Hutchinson & Walter, CPAs' office, and winter board meetings this year are scheduled to be held online via Zoom. Rotarians may view this month’s board meeting minutes and those of prior meetings on the Board Minutes page, which requires a log-in. A link also may be found at the bottom of The Spokesman.
