The Rotary Club of Kirkland held a meeting on May, 1 2023 at SOI Thai Restaurant & Bar.
President-elect Gary Cohn called the meeting to order at 6:16 p.m.
Doug Evanson led us in the pledge.

During its May 1, 2023 meeting, the club's membership approved extensive revisions to the club's bylaws. The club's bylaws have not been updated in some time, and this proposed revision is the result of work over several years by the bylaws committee members. Rotary International requires each club to adopt bylaws, requires certain content be present, and provides latitude to the club with respect to several elements of the bylaws. The revisions are designed to meet those requirements and more.
The club held four meetings during April 2023, the first and third Mondays in-person at the SOI Thai Restaurant & Bar, the second Monday exclusively via Zoom, and the fourth meeting was an all Rummage Sale team gathering. Overall club attendance for the month was 53%, an increase compared to the prior three months. The club's membership remains at 36 active members effective January 30.
Club members' readership of the bulletin, The Spokesman, in April were comparable to the past month.
