Rotarians, it’s time to get the 2021-22 scholarship program launched.  Our vocational service committee needs your help with scholarship funds, and with scholarship applicant interviews!

Last year, individual Rotarians improved the club’s $7,000 scholarship allocation (plus the carryover funds) by $10,500 to boost our scholarship program to $24,000.  The club’s allocation for 2021-22 is again $7,000, and we have less carryover.  We need to gather a few more individual donations if we are to meet or exceed last year’s program.  If you’re willing to sponsor a scholarship this year, or you can corral a scholarship donation from someone in our community, please get in touch with Gary Cohn as soon as practical.

If you are willing to devote some time to interviewing students for our scholarships, please get in touch with Gary, or with Mike Hunter.  We need several people for each interview team.  Without team leads and teams, students will not be able to participate.

Thank you very much for your support of the Rotary Club of Kirkland’s scholarship program.  If you’d like to see the scholarships we offered last year, just click on this link: https://kirklandrotary.org/SitePage/kirkland-rotary-scholarships. We hope to be able to announce and promote the scholarship program to more students before the close of February.
